What’s new for WW1 AHT in 2019

We have been very busy over the winter months to get the WW1AHT ready for 2019. You will find both the BE2e and the Albatros DVa at Stow Maries this summer with forays to Old Warden, Cosford and Goodwood.

Armistice Day – Project Lanoe Honoured by the Heritage Lottery Fund

For the success of Project Lanoe, Trustees of the WW1 Aviation Heritage Trust have been invited to attend The National Service of Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey on 11 November 2018, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Armistice. Members of the Royal family, and religious and political leaders will be joined by members of the public who have contributed to the Centenary on a national, regional and local level.

Exciting times for the WW1 Aviation Heritage Trust as the Albatros DVa project nears reality. Although Jean Michel Munn correctly maintains that looks were not everything back in the day when comparing the DVa with the SE5a, in these more peasceful times it certainly looks the part.
