WAHT Supports the Stow Maries Fly-In 10/11 May 14

Crossley Tender

Although our aircraft are on the high seas at the time and not expected in UK until 7th Jun, we wish Stow Maries all the best with their Fly-In next weekend,10-11th May 14.  Russell Savory who is coordinating the event is expecting a big turn out with the home-based SE5a leading the WW1 aircraft present.  He expects a BE2c and an Eindecker to join the myriad of other aircraft promised for the weekend.  The Great War Society as living historians Maries will be on show to demonstrate how life was in the RFC deployed with the BEF and the Friends of Stow Maries will answer questions about the aerodrome’s history.  Tom Fryars has already arrived with his Crossley tender and Trailer (above).  Make sure you come and join us – details at FOSMA/Events
