Lots of snipers, our guns shelled some of the farms in German lines in afternoon. Still dreadfully cold. Notice I forgot the Battalion’s effort at P’loogstiert Wood. Night attack on German lines. 130 missing, also B. Marshall, Cunningham, Macpherson, Sotheby, wounded. Hutchinson arrived.
